Adria Bowl 14.04.2023

🤝 First of all, we would like to thank all the fans who traveled to Rovinj to support our team, our fans who followed us closely on the streams, our sponsors without whom our trip would not have been possible, and the other teams that participated in the tournament and to the organizers of the wonderful tournament that took place last week in Rovinj, Croatia.

🏈We’re back from Adria Bowl II, where we competed against 21 teams from all over Europe, including Austrians @hb_stags and Slovenian champions @kranjski_jazbeci in the group stage. Although we lost those matches, our performance and the points won allowed us to continue in the play-offs as the second best third placed team. We played a match against @pribrambobcats from Czech Republic but unfortunately we didn’t play well and lost the match.

💪But we didn’t give up. On the second day we came back stronger and beat @hb_stags and made it to the playoffs for 9th place. Since the two teams we were supposed to play @novibeogradorlovi and @ljubljanafrogs_flagfootball left the tournament early, we finished 9th. We weren’t too happy that we couldn’t play these two games, but we made a lot of new friends and gained experience, so we hope to be able to play a game with them in the near future.

🏆We want to take this chance to congratulate the champions @kranjski_jazbeci for their excellent play throughout the competition.

👏We learned a lot at this tournament and realized that in order to compete with the best, we need to train harder and improve our skills and techniques. We want to thank the organizers of this tournament @splitseawolves for the great organization, and we hope to return to Rovinj next year, ready for more success. We are still summarizing our impressions and emotions and using them to strengthen our team and come back stronger.
